The Prostitute Killer

A brutal murder took place on the night of March 9-10, 2012, shocking both Switzerland and Austria. That night, 28-year-old Swiss man John K. booked 44-year-old Austrian escort Claudia B. through an agency for erotic services. The meeting place was the Avia gas station in Langenthal. There, Claudia B., a buxom blonde with ample breasts, got into John K.’s car and drove with him to the parking lot of the Hard sports facility. They got out of the car and walked to the entrance of the gym. John K., who worked as a painter, was high on alcohol and cocaine. But he was still lucid enough to put on gloves so he wouldn’t leave any traces. Because he wanted to live out his violent fantasies with Claudia B. At the entrance to the gym, Claudia B. first wanted the money for her services. But John K. didn’t want to pay at all and, when she demanded the money, immediately punched her in the temple. Claudia B. fell to the ground. What happened next could have come straight out of a horror movie. The burly, muscular John K. first choked Claudia B., then kicked her repeatedly in the face and sides. He then dragged his victim toward a light well. He tore Claudia B.’s clothes off, put on a condom, and tried to rape her. When he discovered lubricant in her handbag, he moistened stones lying on the floor and stuck them in her mouth and vagina. Her hairbrush ended up in her anus. John K. was in a frenzy. Before leaving Claudia B., he stole 200 francs and a necklace from her. Then he drove away and used the money to buy cocaine that same night. The next morning, the body of the prostitute Claudia B. was discovered by junior handball players. Just two days later, John K. was arrested and sentenced in December 2012 by the Burgdorf Regional Court to 18 years in prison followed by preventive detention for the murder of Claudia B. After the verdict, John K. appealed, and in the second instance, the Bern High Court sentenced him to 20 years in prison and outpatient therapy for murder and disturbing the peace of the dead. Detention was waived.
